Do I *need* USB charging hub with physical toggle switches and a live onscreen display of volts/amps/watts? No. Certainly not, and I cannot think of many use cases where the verb "need" would be the correct choice, but it's a very cool piece at a reasonable price and I am enjoying it. What else could I ask for?

I will mention that the first unit shipped to me was defective. The four ports that were supposed to also pass data did not do so. Email to support was answered within one business day, and after a few back-and-forth, they shipped me a replacement unit without asking for return of the defective one or any additional shipping charges. I am satisfied with my purchase and with the company.

Product documentation is sparse, but do take a few minutes to explore the on-screen menu. Brightness and color of the LEDs is configurable.

This is just what I needed to free up spots on my PC and also free up outlets on my surge protector. The voice commands help to start up/turn on devices for my setup that isn't or cannot be connected to my home automation. I no longer have to keep getting up to plug in or turn on the lighting, gadgets and desk fan. The switches are great to turn on individual devices when things are a bit too loud for voice commands

Just what I needed. Power supply is robust, and the ability to see what’s on/off is very helpful. Also, it just looks great, not some generic crappy stick.

When I turn it on, it has this really cool matrix animation, but then it quickly goes away, and I'm greeted with the voltage information screen. How do I keep that on the green matrix screen all the time? The only animated background I can choose is this black and white small checker boxes that flicker at you. Really annoying. The matrix one would look SO much better! There seems to be no option for screen choices. Why tease us with the cool intro, but can't access it? The power connection point in the back doesn’t secure well. If you move it slightly, I noticed the power would disconnect, then reconnect. I have hold the power connection in the hub so it won’t disconnect when moving it. Lastly, the cable that connects to the PC is WAY too short. Every USB hub company I purchased from does this and I don't know why. Other than that nitpick really great product. I love it but I wish all 8 USB slots were usable for usb for my sim rig but I can only use 4 for pc USB expansion and the other 4 are just for power charging. Love the voice command with the asian dude voice :D Very retro, love the solid switches and light customization. Just a shame for the lost opportunity to be able to keep the matrix screen on with this USB hub that looks like it came straight out of the matrix. :)

My HP laptop is awful. I had to add all new external devices. This USB buffer has multiple ports that easily handled all of my external devices.

Plugs right into the computer, easy to carry, plugs external hard drives and devices in quickly.

Finally a trouble free hub.. Get a powered one or forget it. This works flawlessly

I have many devices, and this one handles all of them without issue.

Love that it also has a charger

The ability to switch each port and having a dedicated switched charging port is by far this little guys strong points. Its powered too so everything runs properly. I like it so much I would give 6 stars!! Would buy more later for my other computers.

We had usb extenders plugged into to each which caused conflictsfixed it right away

So this hub is exactly what I needed! Im thrilled! Easy to use! It was well packaged and on my doorstep the next morning! Previous reviews made reference to it not lasting beyond a few months. I have my fingers crossed and am hoping thats not my experience. Its not made by Apple but is compatible. So far so good!

It's great that you can turn on and off your usb devices as needed. It seems well made and should hold up for a long time.

Lots of alternatives out there for a USB hub so I thought there was nothing that could catch my eye in this department. Until I saw this one. It is cool looking, performs as expected and has hidden features that leaves others wondering what they've been doing all these years with theirs. Get one!

This product is stunning!

The unit overall is great. Built strong and does what it says it will, kind of.... the only downside I see is the voice control. It doesn't always work. You can tell it to turn off port 2 for example and it turns on or off a different one. It's like its voice recognition can't understand me sometimes. All of my other voice gadgets understand me fine. Otherwise, I like it and you can always do it manually.

It works as intended. I do wish there was a way to turn off the voice control. I will be playing games with friends and if it hears something close to "Turn on all ports" then it will do so and start talking to me. There should be a way to turn off voice control completely.

Works great. Fits my desk aesthetic well and is nice being able to isolate ports without having to have everything on ay the same time

Looks and works great. The NK6 has enough power for my phone charger. I took my NK4 to work and all the engineers now want one.

I like it, and some of the LEDs stopped working a few days after I got it.

I love it. May I request in future a USB 3.2 Gen 2 versio? Woot!
